Description
This IoT controller is a replacement unit for the Distance Measuring Wheel. It features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, an LCD display, a touch tag reader, a keypad, and a 1500 mAh rechargeable battery. This is not a standalone controller. It needs a base station to operate.
The controller uploads data to the cloud via a base station and does not communicate directly with the cloud. The Smart Hook Charging Station is sold separately.
The device provides up to 8 hours of continuous operation and up to 48 hours of standby time on a single charge.
It is designed to operate throughout the working day in the field and then return to Wi-Fi coverage at the end of the shift. When placed on the Smart Hook Charging Bay, the device automatically recharges while simultaneously synchronizing the day’s data to the cloud through the base station.
