Description
A minimum of one base station is required for each installation. The base station functions as the IoT network manager.
All IoT devices connect to the base station using both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. There is no limit to the number of IoT devices that can be connected to a single base station. Multiple base stations can operate on the same Wi-Fi network, provided they are not within Bluetooth range of each other. Bluetooth is used for the initial pairing process between the base station and IoT devices. Once pairing is complete, all normal communication takes place over Wi-Fi. If required, an IoT device can be paired with multiple base stations.
